Get in touch

Use the support chat or email supportweatherpro@gmail.com for Weather Pro questions. Include your device, system version, the action you were trying to perform and the text of any error. If the question concerns a forecast, include the model, display interval and units so the values can be understood in context.

Avoid sending precise coordinates or other personal information unless they are necessary to explain the issue. A general place name is often enough to start a conversation.

A place or forecast will not load

Check the internet connection first. City search and a new forecast need access to Open-Meteo. Selecting a saved place or entering coordinates does not, by itself, make fresh weather available offline.

Confirm the selected place and model, then use Refresh in the app. If the provider is temporarily unavailable, keep any usable saved forecast and try again later. A dash in a weather row means the corresponding value is missing; it must not be read as zero.

If a particular date is unavailable, check the model’s forecast horizon. The available dates and returned fields depend on the model and service. Switching between one-hour and three-hour presentation does not extend that horizon.

Current Location is unavailable

Choose Current Location to request device location. If permission has been declined, you can review it in the system’s privacy settings or continue with a saved city or named coordinates.

Manual places remain usable without location permission. Check that a city search result is the intended place, especially when several locations share its name. A location request and a forecast download are separate operations; obtaining coordinates does not prove that new weather data has loaded.

Two forecasts show different values

Compare the same place, local date, forecast hour, model, display interval and units. Check the forecast update time in the app as well. Comparing different points or a newer download with an older one can look like a model disagreement.

Weather Pro offers ECMWF IFS 9 km, ECMWF IFS 0.25°, DWD ICON and NOAA GFS. Models can disagree even when the other choices match. The model comparison article provides a checklist without treating one model as universally best.

Rain amounts or units look unexpected

Read an amount together with its unit and period. In the three-hour view, the amount at 12:00 covers the preceding three hours. Rain chance is a separate value for the column’s individual hour; a percentage is not a volume of rain.

Settings contains temperature, wind, precipitation and pressure units. Wind can be shown in knots, metres per second, kilometres per hour or miles per hour. Changing units changes the displayed number without changing the forecast itself.

The hourly forecast article explains how to compare the rows. Hourly values do not establish the exact minute when rain will begin.

A widget differs from the app

On systems that support independent configuration, check the widget’s own place, model, interval and units. An explicit widget choice is separate from app settings and from another widget’s choices. App-only field visibility does not rearrange widget rows.

Mac app settings are not automatically shared with Mac widgets. Configure a Mac widget independently on supported systems. Older systems have more limited editing options.

WidgetKit controls refresh scheduling. A widget can update later than an app you have just opened, and a refresh request does not guarantee an immediate redraw. Open the app when you need to inspect the latest available download. See choosing weather widget settings for more detail.

Apple Watch has not received a change

The Watch app can download independently when connected. Phone-to-Watch transfers additionally depend on pairing, installation of the companion and system scheduling.

Check that the intended place and model are selected. If the app reports a transfer failure, use Retry sync. A queued transfer can take time to arrive; it is not confirmation of delivery. Complication settings and available formats also depend on the watchOS version.

A daily minimum or maximum is missing

Daily temperature summaries require complete data for the local day. A partial final day can therefore show a dash for its minimum or maximum while some hourly values are still available. This preserves the difference between incomplete data and an actual forecast value.

App availability

Weather Pro is still in development. Public download information will appear in the changelog when a release is available. For now, App Store buttons open Apple’s Weather app as a temporary destination. The initial scope does not include radar, minute-by-minute nowcasting or rain push notifications.

The forecast guide covers the current app, and the privacy policy explains the data sent to forecast and city-search services.
