Your forecast requests

Weather Pro sends the coordinates of the selected place to its weather data provider. City searches send your search text to the geocoding service. These requests also expose ordinary connection information, including your IP address, to the receiving service.

Location is optional

You can choose a city or enter coordinates without enabling location access. The app requests location only when you choose Current Location. It does not continuously track your movements.

Data on your devices

Saved places, preferences and cached forecasts are kept in app-managed storage. Supported Apple device features may share settings and forecast information between your own app, widgets and Apple Watch. Remove saved places in the app or uninstall it to remove app-managed data.

Tracking and this website

The app has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs.

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and use its pages. Google processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed and interactions with the site. Analytics uses cookies or browser storage to measure visits. See Google’s privacy policy for its data practices. The hosting provider also processes ordinary connection information needed to deliver pages and protect the service.

Support chat

This website loads Chatra to provide support chat. Chatra processes connection information, pages visited and the messages, email address and attachments you provide. Typing insight can show the support team your draft while you type. Chatra uses cookies or browser storage to keep your conversation available when you return. See Chatra’s privacy policy for its data and storage practices.

Forecast and geocoding services have their own policies. The current app uses Open-Meteo for weather data and city search. Weather data attribution: Open-Meteo · CC BY 4.0. The public endpoint is limited to noncommercial use.
